About Parksmith

Built for the Senses

Parksmith L.L.C. was founded on a simple idea: build for the senses.

It’s the satisfying weight of a piece that sits perfectly in your hand, the honest warmth of natural hardwoods, and the heavy cool of stone. These are intentional pieces built not just to look beautiful, but to be touched, smelled, held, and gathered around. They are objects made to be shared—the kind of goods you are proud to present to your guests and pass down through generations.

Based in California's North Bay, we create high-quality bespoke hardgoods. All projects are made to order, with close collaboration from initial concept through final fabrication, resulting in enduring design pieces that only get better with time and touch.

About Nate St. Amand

Heritage & Craft

Parksmith was born from my 15 years of service as a U.S. National Park Ranger. That time in the field gave me a firsthand understanding of human connection—especially in the quiet spaces where cellular coverage ends and real interaction begins. It taught me how deeply we crave things that are genuine, grounded, and built to last.

Today, I bring that perspective to the fabrication bench. As a solo artisan, I partner with businesses, non-profits, and public agencies to translate their brand into enduring hardgoods and physical touchpoints.

When you work with Parksmith, you partner directly with the maker. Every piece begins and ends in my own hands, ensuring your story is told with the care, honesty, and quality it deserves.
